In 1971 an experiment was done at STANFORD University. Students were selected to be prisoners and guards. The founders of the experiment were curious to see whether brutality is a human characteristic or a social behaviour. They allowed the guards to do anything to uphold the order of the prison. Finally they had to interrupt the experiment at Stanford University because of the extreme ways of humiliation and torture. Now, Mood Pictures has repeated the experiment with only female subjects.
